High School Nordic Team

  • The high school team practices four to six days a week (Not Sundays) from early November to mid March.

  • This team is for high school athletes with a focus on training, skills, racing, and fun. Athletes of all abilities are welcome in this program. Skiers are expected to participate in all CHSAA races.

  • Skiers should have skate skis, poles, and boots and waxable (not fish scales) classic skis, poles and boots. These may be rented from Cloud City Mountain Sports for $100 for the season.

  • Cost: $100 to Cloud City Mountain Sports (There is no separate sports fee for LCHS. CCMS will then pay the school district the appropriate sports fee)

  • All athletes must both apply with CCMS and fill out the appropriate paperwork for Lake County High School.
